Welcome to Sparta Basketball

This program is designed to help high school student athletes receive a full ride 4-year college scholarship. The College Bound Student Athlete Program will focus on building high character young men by developing their academic, social, and basketball skills. The process will start by selecting (14,15, & 16 year old) highly skilled and highly motivated basketball players to represent our AAU basketball team. The players will be selected from a competitively charged open tryout. Selections will be made based on a combination of skill, passion, desire, and motivation to play at the next level.

Once a player is selected to represent the team and the CBSA Program, he will sign a Player Commitment Agreement. The Player Commitment Agreement will outline exactly what is expected of each young man and what he is accountable for. Ultimately taking responsibility of achieving the master goal of becoming a student athlete at the colligate level.

In return the coaching staff will serve as the leaders and role models for the young men in our program. Dedicating ourselves to doing whatever it takes to help develop them for life after high school. Instilling the values of hard work, commitment, and dreaming big. The coaching staff will take on many responsibilities such as academic development, finding sponsorships, and the recruiting of the players.

The CBSA Program promises to operate under the highest standards of integrity. We feel this is a much-needed program in our community and plan to make it successful for all.
